Awards begin at 3:30 p.m.
All proceeds of the car show will be donated to the Injured Police Officer’s Fund, so please join

IPOF remembers Officer Daniel Leach

Correctional Officer Daniel Leach was killed in an automobile accident on U.S. 95, near Searchlight, at approximately 5:45 am. He was driving a prisoner transport van to the Tucker Holding Facility to pickup prisoners when the vehicle collided with a semi truck that pulled into his path from a side street.
Officer Leach had served with the agency for 25 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.

IPOF remembers Officer Milburn Beitel

Officer Milburn "Millie" Beitel died in the line of duty on Thursday, October 8th, 2009. He was 30 years old and had been with Metro for five years. He passed away around 1:30 a.m., following surgery at UMC. The patrol car he and his partner, Officer David W. Nesheiwat, were riding in was involved in an accident. Officer David W. Nesheiwat remains at UMC in serious but stable condition. The Injured Police Officers Fund has established a Down Officer Fund at Nevada State Bank, account # 602029423.

The Paul Revere Society & Dr. Michael Savage – Donate
$ 50,000.00 to the Injured Police Officers Fund of Nevada
Las Vegas, NV – The Paul Revere Society and Syndicated radio host, noted author of over 20 books and Director of the Paul Revere society, Dr. Michael Savage will be the recipient of a humanitarian award for the generous $50,000 donation he made to the Injured Police Officers Fund of Nevada. The Injured Police Officers Fund (IPOF) was formed in October of 1982 and since then has served as a central hub of assistance for all the police agencies in the greater Las Vegas area.
The Paul Revere Society is a patriotic organization with a core charter calling for the protection of this country’s Borders, Language & Culture. Its Director, Dr. Michael Savage, is best known for his syndicated radio show “The Savage Nation”. It’s audience, ranges from 8 to 10 million listeners on close to 400 stations across America, making it the 3rd largest radio talk show in the country.
This gift will serve to help aide officers and families of those officers injured in the line of duty.
Savage will be honored in Las Vegas in the fall of 2009. Publicly and personally, he is a great supporter of law enforcement agencies nationwide. He made a significant donation to the surviving families of the four Oakland Police Officers gunned down in the spring of 2009.
The Paul Revere Society and Dr. Savage pledged the current donation of $50,000.00 to the Clark County organization in June 2009.

IPOF Remembers Officer James Manor
Officer James Manor died in the line of duty on Thursday, May 7, 2009. He was killed in an accident while responding to a domestic violence call. Officer Manor had served with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for two years. He is survived by his daughter.
